Downgrade from V01.00.0510 to .0400

Guys, please read the blog occasionally. As soon as 0400 and 0510 dropped, we warned you all, there is currently no way to downgrade from 0510, DJI have also removed 0400 and 0300 from assistant 2.

We are of course working on it, but its a difficult one to crack.

So actually it worked out for me (at least it appears so) somehow, successfully downgraded from .0510 to .0300 last night. Not quite sure how I did it though, so below is what I did, hopefully can be repeated by others.

I first tried to downgrade using Assist 2 about 3 weeks ago without success. At the time I could choose either .0300 or .0400 on the list, I think I tried both but didn't work out.

Then I read in this thread about using the Go4 app on iOS, so I tried it 2 days ago, didn't even see anything other than .510 on the list, so I posted my question here.

Last night when I tried again on Go4, it popped out a warning msg when I put my finger on the hamburger icon in the app (not holding it for 5 sec), it says something like Warning inconsistent firmware still want to proceed with firmware update? I clicked Yes, a few minutes later it shows .0300 both in Go4 app and Assist 2.

Now I'm going to purchase NLD to do offline activation, because for some reason I couldn't get the unit (a spare unit without camera) to activate. Can someone confirm if NLD can successfully activate the unit offline? If it doesn't work, does NLD have a refund policy?

They have patched/Blocked all FW versions in DJI assistance not only the latest so it doesn't matter if you downgrade  from .0510 to .0300 as you have already installed  .0510 and after that was discovered they have also patched  .0400  .0300 and so on.

Correct me if i'm wrong but if i was DJI i would not only block the newest?

Also you sure offline activation is working? I'm not!

Regarding the offline activation, that's the only reason I want to purchase NLD, because my backup drone (body only without camera) can't be activated the normal way, basically I can't start the motors, saying it must be activated first.

So please could someone verify NLD can do offline activation for Mavic 2 Pro on firmware 0.300? If for some reason it couldn't activate, is there a refund policy?

Maybe you cant go to the first release FW but atleast .0300 ?
If not how do you manage to downgrade from .0510 to .0400 if that option isn't available in DJI assistance?

I mean When someone release a new firmware, There must ALWAYS be an option to rollback to an older firmware ,DJI cannot block that option inside their own software, That would be the most stupid thing to do as it can be severe bugs in the new firmware !

I might be wrong and i don't want to connect my Mavic 2 to DJI assistance to even check if it is like you say. I dont want to take the risk :/

I have had a lot of problems when trying to update my googles for an example . It hangs at 95% first time,Second attempt i got to 27% and then an error occurred . I have had the same issue with Assistance 2 for my mavic!

They just suck at software stability in general! Doesn't matter which platform it is!

I rolled back from .510 to .400 via DJI Assistant. NLD then worked perfectly fine.

Do you know if offline activation is available for Mavic 2 in NLD? Thanks in advance!
