MAVIC 2 UPGRADE WARNING!! IMPORTANT!!

Is there any way to reverse it once done?

I am just shaking my head in disgrace because I usually upgrade all through DJI on setup and then NLD it to my settings. Then leave it alone.

Well can you confirm that if I use NLD Go app that I can still unlock the magic?

Thanks for the info.  I would love to upgrade my firmware.  Hopefully NLD will issue the update to V01.00.0400 so we don't have to deal with DJI at all.

thanks for the warning guys, but there is nothing in the 400 firmware that im interested in anyway so not upgrading to that one anytime soon, but would love the 200 firmware to been completly free if thats something your working on ;)

Why does this happen?  DJI does NOT want you modding your drone.  They will do anything to stop you, including changing their firmware to prohibit you from downgrading to get the NFZ patch that NLD has.  Do you own the drone or does DJI?  Can you trust them AT ALL??

If you update through the GO app, it is the same as updating through DJI Assistant, so don't do it.  Remember also that there is no NLD GO to use with the Mavic 2 birds, use stock GO instead, and don't update through the GO app.  We are working on a solution.

How do I get the V01.00.0400 Firmware file?

Can you use NLD to Refresh the firmware from DJI's V01.00.0400 to NLD's V01.00.0400 and downgrade from there, or is that blocked as well?

Does anyone know the DJI hosts/webservers, which were used for the firmware update? I could manually blacklist them in my dns/vpn blocker app (open source; blokada.org if anyone wants to know) to prevent the dji go app to check/download the firmware.

A RPG or APM to DJI HQ.

For those who already upgraded M2P to V01.00.0400 FW via Go App, Workaround would be:
1) downgrade M2P to the previous V01.00.0300 FW via DJI Assistant2
2) Deploy only NLD to up/downgrade FW.

i was able to download grade to V01.00.0100 using NDL successfully and love it very  much being able to fly and disable the NFZ for areas, that I know I couldn't fly before and been able too with ease.  And speed boast in Normal+  mod  patch is awesome already that I don't even need to switch to Sport mode as it already fast enough in Normal+

My only question is when will NDL V01.00.0400 be patch the latest version to allow NFZ to enable/disable and of right now with this version of firmware it not possible, until firmware has be provision..  

I just downgraded back V01.00.0100 but having to deal with the annoying in the DJI 4 app update firmware message each time is bothersome each time.  

Keep up the good work lasted updates and enhancement.  I am so happy with NLD it opens up a lot possibility on what you can do with your drone in a safe and responsible way.

My Mavic 2 is already using v01.00.0400. I DO NOT intend to downgrade it, I ONLY want to activate the FCC/signal boost feature. Will that still work?

why was i in hurry?
as soon as u get it to work with V01.00.0400. i will by it. i just cant believe that Dji is such assholes like Apple.
is't like they like to mess with us for fun.

Thank you again for NLD for assisting me with my drone.  I received my replacement drone back from DJI re-purpose or refurbished unit.  I thought I was doomed by DJI firmware locked on. 400 firmware but after giving it a try I was successfully able to downgrade the firmware with flying colors.  I am so excited and elated.
