grounded bird firmware issues

Hi ! I tried to flash my spark from v01.00.1000 to .0300 last night and after some struggle it was done ok.

When connecting to the rc controller the motor worked and everything was going alright , it was after that i got a blackout and installed the wrong go4 app so my spark told me that i got a middlefinger and wanted an upgrade to v01.00.1000 again to work and locked the whole machine and lightened all esc lights red for me.

So now i have a question or five, is it only to upgrade and flash with .1000 firmware in client 1.8.0.2 again becuase reflashing with .0300 didn´t help at all or should i install an original go4 app and let the spark reflash itself and start allover after its done  .

Or is it only to switch to another version instead of .0300 or must i have the .1000 first ?

I hope someone can tell me becuase i can´t be the first dummy to do this

Home from work and did some testing over a cup of coffe.

New firmware in the bird from nld .1000 and reinstalled dji go4 original app,

did a new startup like when it was new with all dji mumbojumbo so now it´s flying
and starting with the phone and with the rc controller .

so it´s back to the Workbench and reflash and give it a go again , but for now
Everything is working  again .

I'm new to the scene, but from what i can tell thus far you cant go from .1001 straight to .300, at least i wasdnt able to. I had to go to the next lowest firmware which was .900 and then i was able to downgrade to .300. Basically I dont think you should jump that many firmwares but instead downgrade in steps and flash the your final firmware twice

So , now everything is working ,

after reinstalled the .1000 firmware and the original dji go4 app to unlock
the bird that was grounded by dji
i did as before and went to .0900 firmware and after that to .0300 2 times
just in case .

tested with the rc controller so everything worked ok, after that installed a modified dji go4 app this time and then tested to start it up in the kitchen and
did some hovering .

did a testfly outside for one battery in the close neighbourhood and everything worked ok,  i can only say wow what a difference from before.

This thing rocks now and with the settings from cruzroy on youtube this is
a rocket now and i am very happy with nld:s softwaremod so a big thx to them and  for everyone that´s thinking of doing this just go ahead it´s money well spent     regards Peter

I just did what you did, I was flying my phantom 3 testing the GO app. I usually use the litchi app for the P3. I was gonna fly the spark right after the P3 and stupid me opened the Dji go app again and suddenly it said to update the firmware, I closed the go app but by then, it was to late. I opened NLD GO and same red lights flashing on spark and on the app it says aircraft locked. Gonna do what you did, to unlock the spark. Thanks for posting...
