You can not measure the signal increase directly while having the drone and the RC on the bench.

The way DJI does their tricks is to use adaptive signal strength, meaning that it turns up the signal strength the further away the drone is.

If it is nearby it will just use the lowest possible strength in FCC mode.
When it gets further away it will jack up the signal strength all the way up to a max of 1.8w

The FCC Boost mod basically just increase the max allowed signal strength.

Conclusion: You can NOT measure it but you can sure as hell see a huge difference in the field.

Hi! I am attempting to downgrade my bird at the moment but the process has been "stuck" on 99% for about half an hour now??

I don't want to remove/turn off/exit app or anything just in case... can anyone provide further info for me please??

I am having a problem,  I downgraded from 01.00.1000 to Firmware 01.00.300, Now I am getting a locked message and I need to upgrade through DJI site before I can fly. I have put my phone into Airplane mode before starting and I still get the same warning.

So, I upgraded to 01.00.1000 and applied the NFZ patch and now I getting a battery firmware upgrade before I can fly.

I also got a "not enough system resources" from the NLD app when downgrading M2P. I emailed and made a ticket because that error worried me. I was emailed back but they didn't answer my NLD "not enough system system resources" error. The firmware did downgrade in the background successful. But I'm not going to attempt to do another flash unit I get a response from the team as to what this error is. I waited until it finished flashing in background before closing the error, I didn't want to risk it closing the app mid flash. Any updates to what causes this error? I7 core 8gif ram windows 10, not used for internet browsing and only like 4 programs installed with plenty of hard drive space.

Hi,
I downloaded/created the patched app 4.1.2.2 and downloaded it on an android phone. Once I open it it ask me to identify, I tried several times to scan the drone, no luck, it doesn’t recognize the QR code. If I want to do it through Wifi (second method) the WiFi which is named, doesn’t show up. So how can I activate the drone through the patched app?
