Mavic Pro FCC mode

Hi,

it's still not clear to me (although I did open a support ticket and got a reply on this) if the Mavic Pro supports FCC mode at this point via the NLD app on iOS? I have V01.04.0500 on my Mavic Pro.

As far as I understand it only works currently via the modded Android app but I don't have an Android phone.

This is confusing to me as the BirdMap section on the website shows that even the newest firmware should do FCC mode on the Mavic Pro or Platinum.



Any other Mavic Pro users here with iPhone that use the FCC mod?

Hi bud, if you are in the US you do not need to worry about it as it is applied by default according to your region. Make sure to allow location permissions when requested as this also determines whether it will be enabled or not (checks for region). You can confirm FCC mode if you go to HD settings in the go4 app and go to image transmission state. Notice the graph, you will see two faint lines that run across the entire graph. In FCC mode, the 1km line will at ~87dBm and the 4km line will be at ~99dBm. If CE mode, those lines will demonstrate a much lower scale of distance. Not sure what they are but I know how they should be in FCC mode. Google some screenshots of CE mode and there may be a good picture to use as reference.
