Guys I wish I could give a straight honest answer on the Mavic 2 but I have a Pro Platinum so methods of success are different. The only thing I know to suggest is to go into the DJIgo4 app and tap and hold the three bars in the upper right corner and pick the earliest firmware available to attempt a downgrade. It will more than likely take more than one attempt so be patient and retry if necessary. I'm only the official 1.04.05 firmware and I still have the capability to downgrade to 1.04.03 through the latest official go app(4.3.24) as it lets me do both the ac and rc. Just remember, if successful, flash it TWICE to make sure it's clean. Don't worry so much about the rc as it does not matter what firmware it runs. Even the batteries, a lot of people say to install each battery and repeat the flash process....I've never done that and have never gotten an incompatible or inconsistent firmware message. You WILL get one if the rc is on a different firmware but it does NOT affect flight(I have tested). The batteries say absolutely nothing so don't worry about them. I do notice on 1.04.03 I get motor overcurrent during discharge warnings frequently and it's annoying so that's why I'm on 05 and also my battery capacity is underrated on that firmware so that is the other reason. It says 3640mah or something like that instead of the normal 3830mah and that really hampered my flight time. Hope this helps, I'm trying guys lol
