is it possible to roll back V01.00.0300 if someone has it downloaded before DJI changed the firmware on their servers?

I mean i can roll back to V01.00.0300 in DJI assistance 2,Shouldn't it be possible to load an offline file in DJI assistance?

I just ask as if i can roll back to V01.00.0300 ,Is there any issue to talk about then?

You can rollback from .0510 to .0300 via DJI Assistant 2 with no problem.

@Daniel: What you said is NOT true. Being able to downgrade from 0510 to 0300 just using DJI Assistant 2 seems to completely contradict any statements from the NLD guys regarding the anti rollback "feature" introduced by DJI back in July.

It also would mean, DJI allows it's customers to remove their newly introduced anti-tamper functions by simply downgrading to 0300. Doesn't make sense to me yet.

Could you please go into more detail on how you managed to downgrade from 0510 to 0400 using DJI Assistant 2? Did you use any specific/older version. Any special procedure to follow? Would help some more people in this forum too, I guess. So. Thanks!

I'm still on 0400 (no anti-rollback) and want to upgrade to 0510 because of the improved Waypoint 2.0 feature. What i'm interested in is the FCC mod. Just want to be sure that when we upgrade to 0510 and loose the FCC mod, we are able to go back to 0400, patch it again and upgrade then to 0510 again (like you described it).

...Will go ahead and buy a NLD key by then :)

I can't understand what kind of forum is this ??! there are different differences on the same problem, I don't understand if those who say they have updated and still have the fcc patch, do it out of malice because they lost it after the update or if they are the other incapable? It is never possible for any of the directors or partners of NLD to respond and clarify about it !!! or are they just good at cashing in money?

Hey guys , forgive my ignorance, i just watched some youtube vids and read on some other forums bout NLD, i just registered and bought the activation key. I would like to adjust some stuff in my mavic 2, but reading about the new firmware issue with regards to rollback and modding etc. So.....i have to wait until they get around it,to mod my drone ? again sorry for asking this newbie question, and no, i didnt read any of the other forums on NLD , just jumped straight into the mavic 2 forum. I dont have a issue with waiting for them to find a work around , i just wanna know whats the scene with it.

Hello there Zaeem.

If you already have the latest software from DJI, you will not be able to patch it via NLD yet.
When I purchased my M2 it had V01.00.0400 on it , but it wasn't the one with rollback protection, so I was able to patch it with NLD. I patched the same V01.00.0400, but from NLD and that was it.
Since you already purchased NLD, please keep it safe somewhere, as soon as the team finds a way to decrypt the data, you will know and be able to do the available changes you want through the program.

Just be patient and you will be happy one day with your drone ;).
I am also excited and waiting patiently for the altitude removal for M2., until then, I will use whatever I am given.
