Anything? I have been mean mugging this site for months since I found this site. I am jealous and hating all the people that are able to use their Drone without all the restrictions. Any news for people that bought new drones and want to use this? Any hope at all? Just depressed that I cannot be in the cool club.

I feel you mate. I bought this software to support them to get FCC mode unlocked for my Mavic 2 Zoom. Would love to hear some progress is being made.

hope this helps, these guys have i think normal jobs also and family's i think this is second on there list, you dont want them to rush,  i dont want my bird crashing because of rushing software we need lots of testing done just like if you want custom roms installed on your android phone we do have testers for that, option here, why dont you offer your bird for testing and send logs back to them you can ask some of the programmers in a email format or chat and see what they say

Good point on everything  :)
There is no magic wand for this, it needs time and many people working.
We should be happy really, that there are options available for the M2 , which don't cause any problems.Anything is better than nothing , and nothing is what we would've had if NLD didn't exist.I don't want to offend anyone here with this comment,so don't take it as a targetted message towards people who are in a rush ,because it isn't.

Hello everybody!

I am new here to NLD and I am also a new/fresh owner of the Mavic 2 Pro. Like all the others from here I have a big wish that the altitude limit of the Mavic 2 Pro can be removed soon.

After making some investigation by myself. It seems that the paramters are now hardcoded in the DJI firmware itself and a decryption key is missing to get closer into the firmware. As DJI hard coded it into their firmware some important parameters are not read-/visible anymore by the old DJI Assitant 2 software version 1.1.2.

May it helps NLD to cooperate with the guys from the following very interesting sources:

https://github.com/brett8883/DJI_Super-Patcher

Q: Is it worth trying this in my Mavic 2? Any idea when Mavic 2 will be available?

A: Super-Patcher has zero chance of working on the Mavic 2 at this time. We need a decryption key for Mavic 2’s firmware and a way to gain adb access. Both of those things are above my pay grade

The mentioned DJI Super Patcher tool refers/users uses dji firmware tools (very interesting site):

https://github.com/o-gs/dji-firmware-tools

Based on the two investigated sites it means to me as long as there is no decryption key for the firmware known the altitude limit and other limitations cannot be removed.

Super patcher just took work other did without permission, i would heavily suggest you dont flash any modified firmware, you do not know what it does.

More work is going on on the Mp2 platform, we're the only people actually researching this. Its p[roving to be difficult on newer firmware, but we havent given up.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put the M2 into a hardware reset where it would not have .500 and would be looking for firmware? If that were possible, then one could load a saved version of .300 or lower.
