Hello,
I just downgraded the Firmware of my Mavic Pro Platinum to V01.04.0300 and patched DJI GO 4 (Android) to enable FCC mode. I also enabled 'Boost' mode in de DJI GO 4 settings file.
At first all went okay but then I tried to downgrade the firmware to V01.03.0700 to be able to disable the altitude settings. The downgrading process got stuck on 65%, I waited a long time and but nothing happened. Then I found out that the PC (The NLD software) wasn't able to find the drone anymore. In the Windows Device Manager you could see a constant on/off blinking of the DJI device. In other words Windows detected the drone but it disappeared again immediately after the Drone (DJI device) was found. So the NLD software wasn't able to finish the downgrading process.
I had to reboot both the PC & Drone several times but nothing happened, my Mavic seemed to be transformed in a Brick. After many many reboots I finally managed to reconnect and re-flashed the drone to V01.04.0300. I noticed that during the re-flash the drone got very hot. Once re-flashed I tried the drone but I immediately got an ESC error. ESC 1 & 2 signaled an error and it looks like the ESC board seems fried....
What now? How could this happen?
Regards,
Mac
