For several months I installed Firmware 01.04.0100 sur mon Mavic 2.
right after one of my batteries stopped working.
I went to Firmware 01.04.0400, and now I only have one battery that works on four.
your program damages the batteries, I'm very angry !!!

here is the message of my damaged battery:
the remaining battery is only enough for RTH. return home now.
low battery. please replace battery.
I have more than one Battery out of four that works !!!!!!!!!

How can the software damage the batteries?

The flashing procedure is DJIs own and exactly the same as in Assistant.

That doesn't make sense at all.

Most likely your batteries are about to expire depending on the usage and if that is not the case then it has nothing to go with nld in that way as nld just encapsulate the exact fame firmware flashing as assistant.

I am sorry that you have one of the batteries out of order. But flashing the Drone does not affect the performance of your battery in any way, neither theoretically nor practically. If possible, describe the problem with your battery. If you have a problem with the batteries, write to me, and  we will try to help you recover the battery.
