Not sure what happened to my previous email topic regarding this.

To all who have purchased the new rooted core board for the M2P i would be interested to hear your experiences after replacing the core board.

Were you able to update to the latest firmware and disable the NFZ?

When using the DJI Go app on an IOS device was everyting working okay?

With this I can confirm "works". NFZ deactivation and FCC switched on with the latest firmware.

The topic with 8 pages was deleted by a Mod. I can confirm the CORE board works in terms of normal drone functionality. I.e. Vision Sensors, IMU, Motor, and Camera Controls.

In terms if modding, I have the 0.0670 FW with the NFZ removal Patch. I am using the DJI GO4 App. I have the FCC, boost to 1.2Watts. There is no slider for 1.2-1.6Watts. There is no Altitude unlock. I am able to edit parameters, I changed Tripod Mode to Atti Mode. I havent flown in a NFZ RED zone yet. I plan on driving next to a big airport and trying to start the motor INSIDE MY CAR just to test it.

PS. Im part 107 and very well aware of why NFZ was made. I use my NFZ removal when ATC gives me clearance to fly, and I dont want to mess with DJIs stupidly complex unlocking program. Again im not here to fly my drone into a jetliner. Always fly legally and according to local regulations.

I have used NLD and everything appears to be okay, when i run the NLD app after making changes i.e. NFZ there is no indication in the app to say that the NFZ has been disabled. The only time you see the notification is when you apply the NFZ Removal Patch. is this normal?

Also in my case i have Emply NFZ DB = Yes (is this normal?)

Remove No Fly Zone Limitation  = Empty NFZ DB for Compatibility (is this normal?)

It would be great if a Mod answered this. But from my understanding is that No Fly Zone Database SHOULD be empty. Otherwise, the drone would know where all the NFZs are. The second one is just the button to remote the Database I believe. David? Chime in please.

Yes, the empty db is normal. Also, do not update NFZ database when asked in the go4 app. If you do, then the go4 app will download the NFZ database and you will end up having to reapply the NFZ patch to clear the database again.
