Has anyone performed any test flights with the new root core board? Is everything working correctly including the NFZ etc..

NFZ seems fine on my M2P with NLD Board.

I was in a “GEO Zone. Takeoff is not allowed.” And flying as normal.

I installed the board. (Remembered to transfer over those pads thanks to community member post)
Downloaded NLD Client 2.0.10.
Activated my serial.
Updated drone firmware to latest.
Disabled NFZ via NLD Client.

With DJI Assistant:
Calibrated compass and IMU.

I did not update my firmware on the SmartController because I was unsure about it.

Then I took my bird out to one of those red circle Geo zones and did a test flight without issue.

Thanks everyone for your tips along the way. The information from NLD is very scattered and you have to piece bits together.

Good job NLD team with making this drone useful! It’s not an easy job.

Thanks Steven for your detailed response.

Just one question, can you remind me regarding the following

"Remembered to transfer over those pads thanks to community member post"

I'm not sure which thread the post is in.

It might have been in that 8-page thread post NLD deleted where people were unhappy with the delays and lack of communication.

I think it was Claudio who pointed out those rubber pieces around the two sensors. Once you take out the board and compare them both it's decently obvious.

Detlev was the user who said NFZ worked for him which gave me enough confidence to start working on my board replacement.
