Thanks, mine has the .400 firmware, not even to the .500. how long is the process to downgrade if it works as well as it is supposed to?

Ok, finally! I was able to remove the NFZ. First, I added the MicroSD card with my current firmware version .400 which did not work. The software just hung up as usual. I then downgraded the firmware to version .300 and was able to remove the NFZ. During the downgrade, the software seemed to hang up, requiring a reboot, but restarting the process it then quickly completed it. It's been tested and work great. I did get a warning as a HUD 'Safety Notifications' that can be removed by tapping the agree to take responsibility tab.
Thx for all your help!

Excellent!
Yes, use 01.04.0300 along with NLD GO 4.1.22 and the NLD NFZ patch and you will be golden.
The NFZ removal is not guaranteed if you use any other version of GO, other than NLD GO 4.1.22.  There are two NFZ db's...one on the bird and one in GO.

For the Spark, this would be firmware 01.00.0900 and NLD GO 4.1.22.  if you are using OTG, then you will need to use NLD Go 4.1.14, but complete NFZ removal is not guaranteed.

I seem to be having the same problem with my Platinum. I upgraded the FW from .100 to .300. The software recognizes the drone, and the menu displays green indicating my FW is compatible, but after that the install indicator just hangs. I noticed a menu at the top saying NFZ software being downloaded, but beyond that nothing changes. I disconnected the drone a number of times, rebooted the computer etc, but nothing changes. A few times I did get a few weird error messages from windows, which asked me if I wanted to continue? I'm using Windows 7. As I understand the info, it is not necessary to install an internal SD Card unless I'm downgrading the FW to a much earlier version.  I was able to install the newer FW via the NLD application with no problems.  The flight controller page has all the check boxes greyed out except the altitude box, which shouldn't be available. ? Thanks for any help.

Maybe try another PC...

Usings a Win7 pc, I had the same issue of it hanging even on the recommended lower version firmwares. I could not figure it out for crap. I decided to try my old laptop that I just installed a fresh copy of Win7 (and updates) with no other programs etc... Lo and behold it did not hang and worked.

Don't know if this is the case of others but I suspect something on my pc is causing some sort of conflict or device driver issue... Just thought I would share my experience.

Thank you. I'm going to try and use a different PC today with an updated copy of Windows 10 to see if that does the trick. I'll post my result if it doesn't load.

Finally got it to take after 2 computers with Windows7 and two with Windows 10. After a virgin install of Windows 10 on a laptop with nothing else, it finally worked....

This usually happens if either a firewall program or anti-virus program is blocking NLD from reaching our servers.  You can tell because the process stalls, or refuses to complete.
You need a good connection back to NLD servers for this to work correctly.  Keep trying, try a different network, (sometimes this helps), or try a different PC.

Thank you. Still having a weird problem. I was able to remove NFZ, but the remainder of the settings in the Flight Controller Section of the App won't save the settings if I make any changes. Also the check box to the right only allows me to make changes to the first item (Altitude Restriction) and nothing else? Perhaps the new app coming out will solve some of these problems.

For those who seem to be having trouble with firmware upgrade or downgrade, or NFZ removal patch, try taking out the memory card from the side first, then give it a go and see if that makes any difference.
