Remove NFZ

Same issue here. Downgraded my Spark firmware to 01.00.0900.

I go to Remove NFZ and it seems to go OK.

I also installed the APK after patching version 4122.

When I launch the app and pair with the controller, it still won't let me take off and says I am in NFZ.

I also have the issue where Flight Controller settings in the PC Client has all boxes grayed out other than altitude.

I have tried a million different combinations and am very frustrated. Any help would be awesome.

Spark...check in GO, on the about screen and see if the Precise Fly Safe Database should be 01.00.13.37
If so, the NLD NFZ removal patch has worked.  If not, run the patch again.

*remember that the drone won't do a full restart while running the patch.  Only the flight controller restarts, so if you leave your sound on in Windows, you will hear the drone disconnect and reconnect.

Also, one more tip.  NLD needs to download the patch from our servers, so if it is stalled - progress bar just sits there - check your internet connection and make sure NLD is allowed through any firewall and antivirus programs.

If you are in the Washington DC area and some areas in China, the NFZ info is hardcoded into the flight controller.  The NLD removal patch will not fix this.  You will need to be on early firmware,  01.00.0300, and DISABLE NFZ with the checkbox option.

Just a heads up that this does not work for the Mavic Zoom.

After patching everything on the NLD client UI looks good and asks you to reboot the bird. After rebooting the controller's screen shows "IN NFZ".

Also, Im using 4.1.22 of the GO APP downloaded from this website's guide section.

Not working for me either. I have a DJI Spark, latest firmware (01.00.1000), downloaded and purchased the latest NLD client, activated my drone, but I can't get the NFZ patch work. When I click "Apply NFZ patch" button, it seems like the patch runs without any problem, it says "patching complete, device will reboot", it reboots, but NFZ-s are still there, even NLD client sees them, because at the "Remove NFZ" window it still shows the apply button active, and the remove button grayed out. I tried re-applying, without any success (says complete, but does nothing). I even re-flash-ed my firmware twice, still the same. I downgraded to 0900, reflashed it two times, still not working. I've tried it on two different laptops, not working. Basically this is the only thing I bought it for, so if this can't be sorted out in a few days, I'm requesting a refund.

The "NFZ Limit" is normal until you get GPS mode, then it should go away.  Do you see the white leds flash upon boot up?  That is how you know the patch has been applied.

There are hard coded areas that cannot be removed by the patch....yet.  We have a solution and are testing in house before release.

If you are applying the NFZ patch or the FCC patch and it stalls and then fails, and you get the message to restart...you need to check your network settings.  Make sure you are running NLD as administrator, and allowing NLD through any firewall and antivirus programs.  Check Windows defender also.  Then try again.  You need a good connection to our servers for these patches to fully get to your bird.

My Mavic 2 Pro is working fine.I downgraded twice the fw as says in the how to use PDF and patched the no NFZ.   Always turn on the RC and then the bird, also connect to the dji go 4 after the led flash. The message that I am in NFZ is shown but I can fly free...also tried It in a red zone (a low flight) works perfect!
