I just did the NFZ unlock on my Mavic 2 with smart controller by clicking "enable NFZ patch" and letting it run.  Now the white LED goes solid for a second on the bottom of the craft.

I am getting a class c airspace warning now that i dont remember. Is this just a bug or do i need to redo this?  The closest red zone to me is 40 miles away but when i travel abroad I get skunked by closed down airports.

Hi Jeff,
What i do know is that when the clear light lights up on the bottom
of the drone for 1 to 2 seconds ,that means that the NFZ has been
downloaded properly to the mavic pro or zoom 2.

Hello everyone. I'm currently in central London with my DJI Mavic Pro, and I just recently flew right in front of London Eye. (Large ferris wheel in a very touristy part of London) When I got home, I decided to update my "safe flight" database. This turned most of central London into a large, red, no-fly zone. "GEO Zone Info. The target area is in a GEO Zone. Takeoff is not allowed."

I was disheartened by this. I was seemingly able to get the drone to take off (the rotors would spin up while the drone was still on the ground) without my iPhone attached, (controller only) but as soon as I plugged in the iPhone, the rotors would stop.

After downgrading to 01.04.0300, I was able to install the NFZ patch using NLD. However, I did not downgrade my iOS app. According to everything I have read, downgrading my iOS app is necessary for flight within NFZs. However, I was just able to take off and fly my drone, well within the red "GEO Info Zone."

This seems odd to me. Has anyone else noticed similar behaviour?

Thanks!

Hola, en teoría acepta seguir todos los procedimientos pero al hacer el downgrade se queda en 15% y no sale de ahí. Ayuda por favor?

I have the Mavic 1 and I've tried everything to remove NFZ with no success. Always gets stuck on "Patching Failed, Reboot device and try again" at 72% Has anyone got this to work on 01.04.0500? I tried downgrading it to earlier firmware, but even so, no luck.

NLD is not working in the Mavic Pro 1. Some people removed NFZ using the 01.04.0300 firmware - do not ask me how they did that. I tried several times with no success. I contacted NLD support and got no answer.

Wish I could use NLD 1.9.0 again. Everything was working fine until I updated to version 2.0.X.
