Firmware flashing stuck at 62%

I am having the same problem. Could not get the NFZ patch to work on 01.00.0100 no matter what I did so I though I try the version 0000 and now it does not link to the RC and gets stuck on 75% (on NLD Client) if I try to upgrade. No matter what version I tried flash; 0200, 0300 ,0400 it gets stuck. Even tried to reflash the 0000 and same results.

Tried to "escape" 0000 with NLD client 1.9.0.1, DJI Assistant for M2 and DUMLdore but they all get stuck.

Seems there are a lot of birds grounded on this specific issue on firmware 01.00.0000 could one of the devs step in  and offer a possible solution?
Thanks

Not sure if this will fix this issue or not...we are testing this and trying to duplicate this issue.

NLD firmware flashing...completely rewritten.  If the firmware flashing gets "stuck" leave NLD alone and restart the bird.  Upon re connection, NLD will continue flashing the firmware.

Try this:
connect up the bird to NLD.
Run the NFZ patch again.  Ok if it fails.
Flash the same version of firmware.  See above if it gets "stuck"
Turn on the RC for this procedure and leave it on.

Also, when posting here, give us your OS version.

I have tried it on my main machine, Win 7 64 bit, Laptop - Win 7 64 bit, Netbook - Win 7 32 bit.

At 62% it has finished loading "CP" and goes into a reboot. When it comes back from the reboot, there is a driver error showing. If I try to fix the driver with NLD still open, it will not fix it. If I close NLD, the trouble shooter will fix it. After the fix NLD does not see the bird. If I start Assistant, it sees the bird. After opening and closing Assistant, open NLD and it will now see the bird.

Attaching screenshots. Was going from .0200 to .0100 for the screenshots.
The first is showing the error in deveces after the 62% reboot.
The second is after closing NLD and letting the troubleshooter fix the driver.
The last screenshot is from Assistant showing no proper firmware after NLD faulting out.

Thanks for the response and I hope this might shed some light on this. I have been waiting since last fall....

I'll give the steps listed here a try.

I too have this issue.  I know that they are doing everything they can to fix it but it's not looking good at the moment.  I've spent the last 36 hours in a panic trying to upgrade/downgrade/refresh the firmware and can not get past 75%.  For me it hangs at "Flashing cp to 34.96.02.03" which starts at 62% and never gets past 75%.

I am not having any issue with NLD seeing my drone.

Fingers crossed they find a fix.  As mentioned, it's a $1500 paper weight and I'm not too excited about what DJI will have to say if I have to send it in.

Hey guys I had some struggles to get my M2P downgraded and patching applied. My final workaround was this;

v1.9.0.1 NLD

Upgrade M2P via DJI Assistant 2 to v01.00.0400

Downgrade from .0400 in NLD to .0100 (it worked first time after a day or two trying load of other methods and FW versions)

Reboot M2P before applying NFZ patch and reload NLD software

Hope this works for you guys, also keep your controllers at latest version (.0400) and the batteries will sort themselves out when you start the bird up to fly

Assistant 2 will not finish the upgrade for me on Win 7 64 bit. What version of Windows are you using?

After downgrading to v01.00.0200 using Assistant 2, the bird would not downgrade to
v01.00.0100 using NLD. But I was able to downgrade to v01.00.0000 and apply the NFZ patch. After that, the bird would not link to the RC. The LED next to the link button flashes red very slowly. Pressing the link button or holding the link button doesn't do any good.

I was able to use Assistant 2 to successfully flash v01.00.0200, v01.00.0300, and v01.00.0400 but the bird still won't link. I'm focusing on the slowely flashing link LED next the link button behind the little rubber tab on the right side of the bird.

Does anyone know what that means?
