Firmware flashing stuck at 62%

Not sure if this will fix this issue or not...we are testing this and trying to duplicate this issue.

NLD firmware flashing...completely rewritten.  If the firmware flashing gets "stuck" leave NLD alone and restart the bird.  Upon re connection, NLD will continue flashing the firmware.

Try this:
connect up the bird to NLD.
Run the NFZ patch again.  Ok if it fails.
Flash the same version of firmware.  See above if it gets "stuck"
Turn on the RC for this procedure and leave it on.

Also, when posting here, give us your OS version.

Quad808, I tried all you mentioned several days ago before I posted this to no avail.
Using Win 10 64bit (no connection problems)
Please note something, this specific problem is not random:

Jesse commented the following on this thread "I've spent the last 36 hours in a panic trying to upgrade/downgrade/refresh the firmware and can not get past 75%.  For me it hangs at "Flashing cp to 34.96.02.03" which starts at 62% and never gets past 75%." Using assistant 2 he gets "undefined 0x02e904" error.

I am having the same problem and the system hangs for me at the same exact point showing the same exact message; hangs at 75% and shows "Flashing cp to 34.96.02.03" and when using assistant 2 I also get the "undefined 0x02e904" error message.

Mathematically speaking this is not a coincidence, something in the NFZ patch, after it is applied, is causing this in firmware 1.00.0000 (also resulting in the rc not able to link to the bird)
I am still gathering collective information from other folks to see is the same thing(stuck firmware) is happening with 1.00.0100
What I have seen so far only 0000 is "getting stuck"

We should all be at 1.00.0100 but the NFZ patch is not working so logically everyone is downgrading to the next allowable version to see if it works, and getting stuck.

As other's throughout the forum suggested I also highly suggest removing 1.00.0000 (possibly the old 0.00.0600 also) from Client 1.9.0.1 so more folks don't get stuck and their bird completely grounded.
And of course, look to resolve the main problem; why is the NFZ patch is not working on so many M2's!!!!!!!!

I am still grounded

good evening robert,
I do not know if you have solved your problem or if what I am going to tell you can help you but by reading the topic I see you talking about "desynchronization" between the pc and the MP2.
personally I had a problem on my MP1 and my MP2 almost similar: I use a macbook pro with a win 7 64b with bootcamp on it. the basic drivers of the associated usb and dll are those just before the SP1 version of 7 pro 64b and cause some problems with NLD. if more you have an active anti-virus it will not help. it is necessary to think simple I believe:
- Did you disable the auto power-off of usb?
- do you have your pc up to date?
- do a search on it: api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll (64-Bit)
good luck, you will get there :)

It seems that your problem might not be related to the NFZ patch at all.
Topic found on another forum from OCTOBER with the exact same symptoms:

Yes, thank you for the link I'll have to take a look at that.

They did say they thought this was a DJI firmware issue and not necessarily related to NLD.

This is only my assumption but it could be why DJI won't allow you to
downgrade below 0200.  I could be wrong but I think the problem was relate to the .06 and .0000 firmware or firmware upgrades from there.

I just got his from NLD Support lets see if it works and I know How much they work on this stuff and it must not be easy
i
Here is our suggestion from from one of our devs:

"Please charge your battery, power the drone on and let it sit there until the power is drained fully. After that charge the battery again and power it on again, please check if the errors are gone now.

The error is not the flashing CP, it is just the state. the CP module is a submodule of the 09xx modules.
It seems that your drone somehow entered a boot loop on this modules, usually it just takes some time to get out of this (can take a full battery charge...).
You can take a look at the sync button, in boot loop it kind of "blinks" orange. (solid orange -> off -> solid orange ...).
Once the drone left the loop the sync led should be solid green. When that mode is reached the drone should be able to be flashed again."

Your NLD Support Team,
Thanks

Yes, this is what I've been trying. I have have gone through 3 batteries and yet to have luck with this method. I'll keep trying. Let us know if you have a better result.

Forgot to mention, it's a good idea to have a fan blowing on your M2 and have it up off the ground while you're doing this.

I thought it was not good running the battery all the way down.

Desperate here so giving it a try. Batteries are alot cheaper than the drone.
